Welcome to “Le Thé Vert”,
a café, restaurant and salon de thé in the beautiful village of Daglan in the heart of the Perigord Noir.
I run “Le Thé Vert” from my family home and aim to offer a warm and friendly welcome to locals and tourists alike. I work with my Dutch friend Margis to produce home cooked meals, snacks and cakes.
We are open from the 1st May to the end of September, every day except Wednesday. Our hours are 10h00 – 18h00.
We are also open twice a month in the evening – once for Curry and once for Fish and Chips.
Our menu is built around fresh, homemade and seasonal food using local producers and organic produce when possible. We offer a range of teas, coffees and cold drinks, with a three course meal at lunchtime and sandwiches and light snacks served up to 17h00. Vegetarian choices are always available. We also have scones and a daily choice of homemade biscuits and cakes.
We are a popular stop for cyclists enjoying the beautiful Céou valley on one of the many cycle paths around us, great for experienced cyclists and complete novices alike. We are more than happy to top up water bottles, give as many jugs of water as you need and look after your helmets and bags while you explore our village. We also offer a 10% discount to all Bike Bus clients.
After a visit to “Le Thé Vert” take time to explore our picturesque village with its beautiful stone houses and cobbled streets. A free audio guided visit is available from the local tourist information office
